I love how flamingos get their nutrients from the mud. Yup that's right. They eat mud and filter little animals, plants, creatures growing in the mud. This gives them their great pink tint- its the carotene.
To be free as the peacocks.
Oh, to be as beautiful as peacocks. So vibrant and diverse.
A Zoo isn't a zoo without its Giraffes.
Love Birds are great. The pair's devotion doesn't diminish after courtship. And as the female lovebird incubates her eggs (usually 5) the male stays with her, leaving only to feed as well as gather and bring back food for his mate. i love that these birds really are all about love.
